ABOUT JOHN VELLONE

Presently completeing a University Certificate in Networks and Telecommunications Systems at UQAMJohn Vellone is an Audio-Visual Specialist with Wesco-Anixter with 3 decades of experience in the AV presentation and integration market. John was always fascinated by AV starting in grade school he always volunteered to get the record player, TV or projector for his class. In University John volunteered at the Student TV station where he learned TV production techniques.John holds a technical college degree in Electrotechnology specialized in microprocessor design, a CTS Designation from AVIXA, is certified DANTE (Digital Audio Network) Level 3 and an Associate member of OACETT.John also attends regularly attends technology showcases and international trainings sessions to keep up to date with new technologies and AV trends.Brand Ambassador, taking new products to the global Market.I specialize in start-up marketing. Developed new sales with specific marketing action plans. I have trained sales reps, both novice and seasoned. I master the sales process and have developed new accounts across the world for my clients. I was hired by Canada’s largest independent electronic distributor to start-up a Commercial audio division. I currently consult for Inter-M a Korean based manufacturer of commercial audio products assisting them in international sales, marketing and branding. I have organized over 22 international trade shows for various international manufacturers.I market several USA manufactured brands in the Canadian territory including one Swiss made product and some German software.My business and management educations come from my experience, having grown up in the family electronic retail store and from reading many books, attending seminars, webinars and self-improving programs like the ones offered by Anthony Robins and by French motivational speaker Frank Nicolas.My Goal is to excel and exceed above and beyond all expectations.
