About Velkarthik Anand
I’ve always been curious about how businesses grow and how markets work, which led me to study Economics & Finance at the University of Hong Kong. Living in Hong Kong and Canada exposed me to different ways of thinking and helped me become more adaptable. At Scripbox, I worked closely with the CEO and senior leadership on Fundraising, M&A, and business strategy. I played a key role in securing funding, managing due diligence, and structuring deals. Along the way, I also handled data management, internal MIS, and board communications, making sure the right insights were available for decision-making. I’ve always enjoyed working across teams, whether it’s with product, tech, or operations, to help solve problems and drive growth. I also helped organize training sessions with industry experts and fund managers to support our client-facing teams. Now, I’m heading to ISB for my PGP, looking to build on what I’ve learned and take on new challenges. Excited to meet people, exchange ideas, and explore new opportunities in finance and strategy.
