ABOUT VEIT HELLER
I’m a problem-solver with a thing for building sharp, simple tools. Over the years, I’ve built everything from compilers and virtual machines to editors, IDEs, big data visualizations for non-programmers, and real-time traffic monitors. I’ve used all kinds of tech stacks, contributed to a few tools you might’ve heard of, and maintained some of them, too. I’ve led teams (which I enjoy) and managed companies (which I don’t). I’ve helped investors make decisions, and founders sharpen their products and stories so they can raise money or just make better stuff. I’ve worked as a contractor, an employee, and a stakeholder. Long story short: I’m a generalist who cares about both the technical and the human sides of my craft. I like learning, building, and whenever I have something useful to say, I like teaching, too.
