About Veera Sankar

My career has been focused on engineering front end solutions in TypeScript/JavaScript. Even though I\'ve tried every popular JS \"framework\" out there I only have respect and love for React & Svelte (polar opposites; I know!).I\'m really into Reactive programming and functional programming with PureScript, Haskell and Elixir.You will find me trying to sell FP to my peers at every chance I get. Peers/juniors who did listen to me and ditched Lodash for Ramda and tried to adopt monads and Observables to begin their F & RP journey say I helped change their way of thought/code and they can never go back. For the others; I\'m like an annoying salesman or a pushy evangelist.I code with performance and maintainability being the forethought and not a consequence of problems.I\'m an autodidact, don\'t spend a day not learning something new. Ok maybe that\'s a lie; I sometimes spend weeks learning nothing new but a different position of lying on the couch for copious amounts of television. But at least I try. If my apartment was as clean as my code I\'d be a very balanced human being.I\'m also fascinated by generative art with Processing or HTML5 Canvas libs like three.js and PixiJS; and you\'ll see a general flair for art in my side projects, if I even have the time to have them any more.Jargon alert: I\'m good with these technologies among others: RxJS, fp-ts, MobX, node.js, React, Redux, GraphQL, & Framer Motion.
