I am a Biological Scientist at the WVU Cancer Institute and a Synthetic Biologist dedicated to engineering next-generation cancer therapeutics. My expertise lies in the precision downregulation of oncogenic mRNA targets and the directed evolution of functional nucleic acid enzymes. Successfully identified and characterized two highly effective BCL-2 mRNA-cleaving DNAzymes (DNZ-15 and DNZ-35). Validated their therapeutic potential through rigorous cell-based assays and in vivo BALB/c mouse models. Expert in high-throughput screening using Phage and cDNA Display to evolve high-affinity binders and peptide aptamers.
