ABOUT VEDANT CHINGALE
Mechanical Design and Documentation Engineer with 2+ years of experience delivering technical solutions for Oil & Gas and Defence clients. I\'ve worked across various projects with end users including ADNOC and Govt. PSU (Naval Shipbuilding) — handling detailed design, flow calculations, client submissions, and assembly testing — following ASME B16.34, API 520, ISA 75.01, and DEF STAN 314 standards. Beyond the drafting board, I enjoy the client-facing side of engineering — explaining complex calculations, resolving technical queries, and making sure the work actually lands well on the other end. I\'ve also built internal tools that cut our calculation time by ~50%, which taught me that good engineering isn\'t just about design — it\'s about making processes smarter. During college, I served as Secretary of the ASHRAE Student Branch at Terna Engineering College, where I conducted outreach sessions on HVAC and sustainability at local schools — something that reinforced my belief that communicating engineering clearly is just as important as doing it well.
