ABOUT VEDANT PODDAR
I recently graduated with a Master’s in Finance from UT Dallas with High Distinction and hold a Bachelor’s in Economics and Finance from the University of London, where I earned First Class Honours. I have also cleared CFA Level I.Over the past few years, I have built a strong foundation in finance through academics, internships, and hands-on lab experience. I have taken courses like Corporate Risk Management, Financial Modeling for Valuation, Venture Capital, and Mergers and Acquisitions, which helped me connect classroom concepts to real-world applications.During my internships at LKP Securities and MGB Advisors, I worked on equity research, sector analysis, and supported fundraising and M&A projects. At UT Dallas, I managed finance tools like Bloomberg, Capital IQ, and FactSet as a Finance Lab Manager and helped students apply valuation and portfolio modeling techniques.I am currently building my Python and SQL skills and enjoy applying them in financial modeling and project work.I am now looking for full-time roles where I can grow my skills and contribute—whether in investment banking, asset management, or financial analysis. I am curious, driven, and always excited to learn from people around me.
