Hi, I am Vedant, a Software Development Engineer with experience in mobile and web applications, cloud services (AWS), and database systems. Currently, I’m part of the team at MapUp India Pvt. Ltd, where I work on projects like the TollGuru app built with Expo and React Native, TollTally web app built on Next.js and similar other projects. I enjoy tackling both frontend and backend challenges, leveraging tools like Next.js, React Native, Expo, GoLang, AWS, MongoDB, and MySQL.In my role, I’ve had the chance to work on diverse tasks, from implementing a turn-by-turn navigation feature from scratch for mobile app, creating GoLang APIs for the same, and other features like Single Sign-On, setting up error monitoring and leading a certain feature or a project. I also enjoy finding ways to streamline processes, like building automation scripts or optimizing product workflows. My focus is always on delivering practical, reliable solutions while learning something new along the way.I’ve also worked on personal projects, such as a EHR-LockChain, a blockchain-based electronic health records system built using Solidity and Next.js and web apps like Cov19Beds, a hospital bed booking system built using Flask (Python) and deployment on AWS EC2.    Enhanced the TollGuru mobile app built on Expo and React Native, implementing a turn-by-turn navigation feature with real-time voice and text instructions.•Designed and implemented GoLang API endpoints for navigation, using OSRM for route calculations and navigation instructions.•Led the commercialization of TollGuru app features, managing task creation, delegation, and regular updates to the CTO during the transition to a paid model.•Implemented Single Sign-On on the mobile app and established error monitoring using Sentry, with webhook implementation for real-time Google chat alerts, enhancing app reliability.•Built Python scripts for automated testing of the TollGuru SDK, ensuring reliable updates through diff generation.•Contributed to the development of a new product, TollTally, across frontend and backend, including Sequelize ORM setup, pagination for large datasets, backend search functionality and SSO integration.•Took on high-priority tasks with tight deadlines for TollTally when required, ensuring timely product demos and stakeholder satisfaction.•Gained hands-on experience with AWS services, including but not limited to CloudWatch, SQS, and Lambda functions.
