ABOUT VED BARVE

Hi! I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Applied Statistics and Analytics, and I’m passionate about making sense of data to solve real-world problems.Over the past few years, I’ve had the opportunity to work on some fascinating projects. During my internship at the Directorate of Economics and Statistics, I worked on India’s Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI) using NFHS data. It was a deeply rewarding experience that taught me how data can highlight structural inequalities and guide better policy decisions.I also interned at JM Financial, where I explored India’s growing Electric Vehicle market. I conducted both primary and secondary research, spoke directly with EV dealers, and built forecasting models to understand market trends and policy impacts. It gave me hands-on experience connecting data with business needs.I enjoy the entire data journey — from exploring messy datasets to building clear visual stories with tools like Python, Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
