Leading a regional collaborative of nine public media stations working together to coordinate news coverage, share reporting and advance best practices in all aspects of journalism. We believe diversity in newsrooms — and in the stories we tell — strengthens our public media mission to inform and empower communities with trusted, accessible news. Among my responsibilities: Guide a new strategic plan to expand audiences, grow the NENC\'s mission and strengthen sustainability in the short and long term; oversee the collaborative\'s editorial efforts and content-sharing; create and implement the NENC\'s central efforts in diversity, equity and inclusion; orchestrated 900-person New England audience research study with third-party firm in 2022; cultivate relationships with a wide range of partners; represent the NENC in high-level meetings and public events. Completed Greater Public\'s DEI Executive Forum in July 2022. Our partner stations are CT Public (WNPR), Maine Public, New England Public Media, New Hampshire Public Radio (NHPR), Vermont Public, WBUR, GBH, CAI Cape and Islands and WSHU.
