This research project is based in Gonzalo Campillo-Alvarado\'s lab, at Reed College. I am working on crystal engineering anti-bacterial drugs through the techniques - co-crystallisation and mechanochemistry - to work towards a solution for anti-bacterial resistance. Antibacterial resistance is the 3rd highest leading cause of death today! I hope to be able to alleviate this problem by creating better drugs!Technical skills acquired: Powder crystallography, X-ray crystallography, Crystal microscopy, NMR, FTIR, and use of modelling softwares: Spartan, Olex2, Mercury, ChemDraw, and SciFinder.
