I’m a software engineer who thrives on solving technical problems and driving growth through collaboration. My journey started in marketing, where I quickly realized my true passion was in data and technology. After a leap to Germany and a few degrees later, I found my sweet spot in software engineering—where the learning never stops and the opportunities to build impactful solutions are endless.I’m often told I’m not your typical engineer—I’m a communicator. Whether it’s breaking down complex concepts for stakeholders or overhauling team processes, I’m all about making things clearer and smoother for everyone involved. From revamping onboarding at Zalando to setting up scrum processes at Foodspring and Delivery Hero, I’ve always looked for ways to make our work more efficient and less stressful.When I’m not coding, you’ll find me exploring new cities (55 and counting!), running on quiet roads, or indulging in all things pumpkin (basic, I know).    Feb 2025 — Present · Portland, OR, US

   Design and develop scalable data models, ETL pipelines, and Snowflake-based data warehousing solutions to support data-driven decision-making across Oregon’s most populous county. I partner closely with internal stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into secure, production-ready solutions while ensuring data quality, performance optimization, and adherence to governance standards. In this role, I engineer end-to-end data pipelines to provide visibility into countywide trends, replacing manual processes with automated workflows and enabling more accurate, timely analysis. I also modernized database deployment processes by migrating legacy infrastructure to Azure DevOps and DacPac, improving consistency across environments and aligning release management with modern DevOps best practices.
