As Senior Vice President of Maintenance Services, Vaughn Chase is accountable for overseeing overall property condition, maintenance operations, environmental health & safety, capital projects, landscape, and procurement for the Apartment Division which consists of 5 regions and over units.Responsibilities and Accountabilities include- Build, collaborate, and execute actions that support company vision- Ensure properties are clean, functional and in alignment with Irvine brand standards- Financial accountability for contracted maintenance expenses, and capital budget- Accountable for multi-year capital planning and all capital project execution- Drive innovative solutions that improve service, quality and efficiency for maintenance operations- Provide leadership and support to on-site maintenance operations- Oversee all pricing, contracting, and vendor on-boarding- Manage vendor performance and adherence with quality and licensing standards- Manage all environmental and regulatory compliance items- Oversee safety for all employees and manage safety programs- Oversight of all landscape quality for all property assets- Drive improvements, policies, and procedures that mitigate risk for the Company- Management of all preventive maintenance programs- Oversee and execute on energy management initiatives- Partner with Development Division on new developments and reinvestment projects
