I am a therapist in the Brewer’s Hill neighborhood of Baltimore. I see clients in-person, and work with private pay and various insurers. I love connecting with peers and am happy to share whatever I can to be helpful!I have years of experience as a therapist, working with clients of many different backgrounds. I have owned and managed a group practice, a group of great therapists that I am proud to work with, for some years. I am proud of the work we do, the W2 positions (not the 1099 game employers use to avoid payroll taxes to the detriment of their employees) and with health insurance (good, employer sponsored health insurance) and 401K benefits with a substantial employer match), the culture of supporting one another and the flexibility that each therapist has to set their own course as therapists, while not having to go at it alone. As a therapist myself, I have some aptitude in many domains, but I have a strength in the treatment of anxiety disorders specifically.I graduated with an MSW from The School of Social Work and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Maryland, College Park with a BS in Psychology. I worked for years in retail management prior to going back to school and worked in the claims customer service department of a health insurance company in Columbus, GA. I also hold certification as a Life and Health Insurance Specialist.
