With 8+ years of experience across government advisory, international consulting, media, and multilateral projects, I work at the intersection of digital safety, regulatory policy, and strategic communications. I specialise in translating complex governance challenges into actionable frameworks that strengthen platform accountability, protect users, and embed equity in technology and regulation across the Global South.I currently serve as Senior Manager at the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI), where I lead stakeholder relations, industry partnerships, and responsible advertising initiatives. My work focuses on strengthening consumer protection, enabling ethical digital practices, and supporting India’s evolving advertising and content governance ecosystem.Previously, I led policy messaging and national communication strategy at the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, authored 50+ published government explainers on AI governance, digital rights, public welfare, and gender equity (including pieces cited by the PMO), and contributed to gender-tech research with UNESCO South Asia on media ethics and violence against women in journalism. My experience also spans gender advocacy with CGAP South Asia, state-level policy reform with the Government of Uttar Pradesh, and global strategy consulting through 180 Degrees Consulting (SOAS, London).My work is anchored in building safe, inclusive, and equitable digital ecosystems, with a thematic focus on tech-facilitated gender-based harm, algorithmic bias, online safety regulation, and responsible content governance. I hold an MSc in International Politics (Distinction) from SOAS, University of London.
