Led the establishment of a new press shop for bearing races and other sheet metal parts•Managed RFQ handling and feasibility study for sheet metal parts. •Estimated tooling costs and determined the number of operations required for each component. •Managed costing for tool manufacturing, process costs, and raw material costs.•Design, Manufacturing and Maintenance for various types of PRESS TOOLS, including Blanking, Punching, Piercing, Drawing, Trimming, Bending, Compound, Combination, Notching, and Progressive dies.•Planning of new tool manufacturing and development as well as machining processes for die parts(Lathe, Shaping, Milling, Grinding, VMC, CNC turning and Wire cut etc.)•Procurement Related to press tools, Tool room and Press shop.•Assembly and Trial Out of PRESS TOOLS.•VAVE activities for cost reduction and scrap minimization.•Developed and implemented Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Control Plans, and PFMEA (Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) for stamping processes.•Hands-on experience with IATF 16949 Audit Documentation related to the Toolroom and Press Shop. •Handled supplier quality issues for both existing and new development parts •Conducted process audits for stamping parts suppliers.•Assisted in the selection of suppliers for NPD parts and cost finalization with suppliers.•PPAP documents for in-house stamping and conducted PPAP audits at supplier facilities.
