I am a higher specialty trainee in a Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery training programme on the Mersey rotation with a distinctive skillset in effective communication, strategy, and management. My career interests comprise #surgery,#management,#consultancy,#leadership, and personal performance optimisation. My clinical interests comprise skeletal trauma, high-energy injury, elite sports and exercise surgery, and orthopaedic engineering.I have a decade of leadership experience and almost half a decade of management and teamwork on a national scale. I have advocated for surgeons in training across all grades and specialties in the UK on national stakeholder board meetings, including JCST, ISCP, CSTAC, ATDC, and ICBSE, thus demonstrating experience of problem solving and higher order strategic planning. I have maintained and expanded a 6 figure portfolio of industry partners for a national organisation. I grew up with a background in competitive elite sports, including Youth and Junior Elite triathlon on a national/international scale, athletics and cross country on a national scale, and swimming on a regional scale. My wider interests consist of art, meditation, culture, history, travel, personal journalism, and cooking. I also have a rather unorthodox penchant for drum and bass music.
