My role focuses on integrating strategic planning with real-time responsiveness, leveraging planning tools and analytics to support production scheduling, inventory optimization, and service level improvements.My Current Roles & Responsibilities:• Develop and maintain short-term (3 months) and long-term (12 months) demand forecasts at SKU/channel/region level using statistical models and market inputs.• Consolidate forecasts from sales heads, channel managers, and zonal planners into planning tools to drive accurate production and inventory planning.• Lead Sales & Operations Planning (S & OP) meetings, providing data-driven insights to align supply chain activities with business goals.• Monitor forecast accuracy (MAPE) and implement corrective actions to improve planning and responsiveness.• Manage PAN India inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels across plants, warehouses, and distribution centers to meet service level targets.• Execute Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to align plant production schedules with demand forecasts and inventory targets.• Track product availability, service levels, Days of Inventory (DOI), slow-moving, and obsolete stock.• Maintain plant inventory levels, ensuring uninterrupted production through timely procurement.• Align departmental plans with strategic business objectives, ensuring consistency and coordination across operations.
