As a Trainee Mudlogger, I assist in monitoring and analyzing drilling operations to ensure accurate geological data collection. My role involves:• Collecting and examining drill cuttings to identify lithology• Monitoring gas levels and interpreting real-time data using surface logging systems• Preparing detailed mud logs and daily reports for the drilling team and clients• Ensuring accurate depth correlation and maintaining wellsite safety protocols• Collaborating closely with drilling engineers and geologists for efficient decision-makingThis role has strengthened my technical knowledge in petroleum geology, enhanced my data interpretation skills, and provided hands-on experience in the oil & gas exploration environment.#oil field instrumentation
