Building pipelines and data flows in Azure Data Factory for migrating historical datasets from On-prem SQL Server to Azure Blob Storage and Azure SQL Database. • Creating and deploying Infrastructure for different environments using ARM templates and Azure DevOps. • Develop, Maintain, monitor, troubleshoot performance and perform periodic auditing with the help of Azure services such as ARM, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Web Roles, Worker Roles, Azure Websites, Caching, SQL Azure, Net worker services, API Management, Active Directory (AD). • Migrated Databases, SSIS packages, reports, SQL agent jobs, folder structures from the SQL Server 2008R2 based servers, to the SQL Server 2012/2014/2016/2019 and Azure SQL Database (Hybrid Cloud) servers. • Worked on Azure Data bricks to pull the data from Azure Data Lake and doing aggregations using SQL Language. • Implemented SQL Server 2019 Multi subnet Always ON with 2 Nodes (Secondary and DR). • Involved SQL changes based on the new change requirements, Software installation, Database backup/Restore, SSIS package configuration files and SSRS report deployments, Linked server settings, and Agent job settings. • Creating users defined roles and schemas and giving appropriate permissions to the members as part of the security implementation. • Developed PowerShell and T-SQL scripts for pre installation, post installation, pre migration and post migration checks for Data Centre migration.
