About Varun Chaudhary
From corporate quality assurance to curating calm in the Himalayas — my journey has been one of transformation, purpose, and passion. Previously, I served as the Assistant Quality Assurance Manager at Johnson Controls, where I upheld high standards in reporting accuracy, training delivery, and strategic process improvement. With a foundation in the arts from the University of Rajasthan, I brought a unique human-centered lens to systems and people development. I took pride in mentoring Quality Analysts, designing impactful training programs, and delivering Voice and Accent sessions to elevate team communication and performance. Today, I’ve channelled that same commitment to excellence into a dream project — Matcha-O, a thoughtfully crafted café in Leh-Ladakh, co-founded with my partner. Matcha-O is more than just a café — it’s a space where intention meets flavor. We serve matcha brews, Vietnamese coffee, handmade cookies, ramen, and warm hospitality in the middle of the mountains. Every cup we serve is a reflection of values I’ve carried throughout my career: consistency, quality, care, and community. Whether managing metrics or pouring matcha, my goal remains the same — to build something meaningful, one experience at a time.
