Preparation of monthly financial reports, ensuring they are completed in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.· Preparation, analysis and posting of periodic journals (accruals, prepayments, payroll, intercompany).· Preparation and analysis of balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline each month end and provide supports on differences.· Liaise with external accountants regarding local accounting and tax compliance.· Engage to successfully complete multiple and diverse deliverables.· Maintain adequate controls over financial processes and results.· Provision of input on local finance policies and procedures ensuring ongoing compliance for all accounting and finance operations.· Support the continued rollout of SAP, process improvement and periodic year-end review procedures and local statutory audits as required.· Ensure the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of financial data along with recommendations on possible courses of action as appropriate.· Identifies/Supports opportunities to increase the leveraging of systems and applications by the user community to enhance business systems optimisation.· Interact with key internal stakeholders outside of Accounting (Verizon Functional teams, Tax, Legal, Auditors).· Collaborate with external audit staff for optimization for the overall process to minimize manual work‐around and stand‐alone systems.· Ensure compliance and adherence with controls for internal policies and external regulations.· Support Finance Transformation focused initiatives within EMEA and involvement across International.
