Provide engineering support for all activities in product development process. To reduce cycle time in existing production parts. Providing Improvement Points and Countermeasure for defects Product Benchmarking and providing the cost reduction measure. Preparing, analyzing & monitoring supplier PPAP, PFMEA on shop floor as per Process Flow Diagram, Process Drawing and Machine Drawing. Design Application of Jig, Fixtures to aid Assembly Process. Review Technical specification of the projects to understand the project requirements. Preparing Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) of all SPM & Mfg. Processes. Preparation of technical submittal & Sending RFQ with supplier. New idea for product & Process improvement w.r.t CI. Improvement for field quality through analyses of customer complaints & design improvement in product. Reverse Engineering and localization of import components. Involved in providing optimum design at minimum cost to be competitive in the market.
