I lead product for road safety and telematics at Lyft. Unlike most mobility companies, we build our telematics platform entirely in-house — I own the machine-learning models and the safety products that run on top of them.My work spans driver and rider safety products, driver behavior change and coaching, and the telematics models consumed by teams across the company — including the AI systems that help agents investigate rides. The goal is to make every ride safer — by helping drivers improve, detecting risk early, and giving teams the signals they need to act.
