About Varsha Nair
Check out my portfolio for my downloadable resume and a few redacted examples of my research thinking (the desktop version is better!): https://varshadesigns.com. I am an enthusiastic and personable UX Researcher experienced in implementing qualitative research methods to uncover impactful insights that serve users, with a passion for helping people achieve their goals. Most recently, I conducted research for Google, specifically on Bard/Gemini, Trust & Safety, and Google Assistant. While I love playing a part in the advancement of technology, my favorite aspect of the job is the opportunity to empathize with people across the spectrum of ages and backgrounds. In fact, I am happiest when I can work directly with people, thoroughly understand their needs, and give them a voice. My background in speech-language therapy, linguistics, and music performance makes me a skilled communicator. This helps me connect with people meaningfully, allowing me to gain valuable insight into their mental models and emotional states. I use this empathetic understanding to drive my work, ensuring that I deliver rewarding, enjoyable usability experiences. I would love to connect and get to know you! Feel free to send me an email at v••••••••@gmail.com.
