Working as a Head of Accounts and Finance in a Trust \"Catalysts For Social Action \" which started in 2002. Catalysts for Social Action (CSA) is a non-governmental organization based in Mumbai thatstrives to create a brighter future for vulnerable children, children under institutional care andcare leavers. CSA operates in four states in India, namely Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh,Odisha, and Goa. CSA works with more than 100 child care institutions with almost 4500children, and more than 1500 care leavers.Key Result Areas of my Job role, includes :• leading a inhouse accounting team, • Build robust financial control processes and strengthening internal control framework• Develop impactful management and donor reporting framework which includes catering to the donor specifications while balancing legal requirements.• Produce accurate and timely financial reports and financial statements in accordance with the donor reporting calendar.• Identify and manage compliances, including compliances specific to charitable Institutions• Prepare and collate financial data for internal and external audits, and tax and regulatory reporting• Assist leadership teams with budgeting and cost optimization.
