I cannot put my finger on one thing I am passionate about. I am passionate about everything I do. I have worked in Risk Consulting for 5.5 years. The work I did on Internal Audit engagements and Internal Financial Control assignments for multiple clients across various industries has opened my eyes to the world of Analytics and the importance of Compliance in today\'s time and world. I have worked on internal processes like HR/Payroll, Sales, Procurement to Payment, Governance and Statutory Compliance. My work on an engagement spans from process understanding to engagement closure. It is an absolute pleasure to study the workings of some of the biggest companies. It is even more gratifying to be able to understand what is wrong and what needs to be done right. I have always been bogged down by intrusive questions like \'Why B.COM and not Medicine?\' I could never come up with a good answer throughout school and college. But now with 5.5 years of experience in Risk Consulting, I think I have finally found the answer. It is not just human beings who need doctors to diagnose their illness, give them proper treatment and help them feel better. Companies of all sizes also need that kind of care from experts. That is exactly what consultants and internal auditors do. I can proudly say that \'WE ARE DOCTORS\' for companies and businesses. We understand their processes and systems, we look for gaps and lapses in controls, we prescribe the right medicines in the form of process improvements and other suggestions so that they can feel and do better! I am currently exploring the world of Forensic Investigations where I get to explore a fraudster\'s psyche, study his/her intent and unearth the extent of the wrongdoing and its impact though complex investigations. I strongly believe my profession helps me contribute towards nation-building by helping companies strengthen their guard against fraud, reducing chances of potential financial and reputational damage. I seek creativity in everything I do. I am constantly evolving and my interests evolve with me. I am intrigued by the world of business analytics, product marketing and sustainability.
