About Varsha Am
Life sciences researcher with a strong foundation in tissue engineering and microbiology. Holding both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Biotechnology, my research has focused on antimicrobial resistance and the biocompatibility testing of silk fibroin-based films for corneal tissue engineering. Currently an FAS Intern at Cellink CoE, IISc, where I work with 3D bioprinters, assisting in bioprinting applications, protocol optimization, and bioink development for regenerative medicine and tissue engineering. My interests span biomaterials, stem cell biology, and biomedical applications, with a focus on innovations in health, energy, and the environment. Passionate about advancing interdisciplinary research for real-world impact.
