ABOUT VARNIKA TYAGI

Over the last few years, my work and learning have been guided by one constant question: how can intent be translated into impact? The social sector became my answer.For the past 4–5 years, I’ve been actively involved in social work starting with the National Service Scheme (NSS), where I served as a volunteer and later took up leadership responsibilities including Joint Secretary and Vice President. That experience taught me how real change works on the ground: through conversations, coordination, patience, and showing up consistently. Beyond NSS, I’ve worked with and volunteered at organizations like RHA(Meerut), MAA, Samaritans Foundation, Aashraya Foundation, Kacche Dhaage and others, engaging with communities, campaigns, and impact-driven initiatives.One thing that comes naturally to me is communication. I’m comfortable speaking to diverse groups, putting my opinion out, hosting and anchoring events, and translating complex ideas into simple, relatable narratives. Academically, I come from a Mathematics and Economics background, which allows me to look at social issues through a structured, analytical lens especially in areas related to development, research, policy, and data-backed decision-making.Alongside this, I enjoy the creative side of storytelling like graphic designing, content editing, and visual communication because I strongly believe that impact is amplified when ideas are communicated well.At this stage, I’m open to collaborations, projects, fellowships, and meaningful conversations in the social impact, development, research, policy, and education spaces.
