Managing technical operations of the R&D laboratories and equipment in liaison with the stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted operation of the laboratories and technical lead on projects for new installations/refurbishments. SME on LEV & HVAC Systems. Duration: May 2021 to date Responsibilities • LEV & HVAC Systems SME responsible for management of LEV programme across the EMEA region. • Define scope, provide design specifications and oversee delivery of LEV/HVAC Systems on Capital Projects from technical design, installation and operational perspective. This includes CL2, CL3 & CL4 Labs and also LEV devices such as Microbiological Safety Cabinets, Containment Isolators, Downflow Booths, Downdraft Tables, Fume Cupboards, Ventilated Enclosures, etc. • Oversee development of LEV lifecycle management system including bringing legacy systems up to current standards and also to define new procedures to be followed for introduction of new systems including automation and robotics on site. • Define PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) strategy to ensure compliance with COSHH Regulations 2002 and other HSE guidance such as HSG258. This includes site strategy for assessment of critical spares and holding stock on site. • Assist with problem solving on day to day operations to ensure business continuity.
