I am a seasoned professional with a 10-year career spanning the Aerospace and Rail industries. In Aerospace, I worked on enhancing out of plane properties of Light combat aircraft using tufting technology while pursuing my Master\'s in Aerospace Structures. This experience led me to work with a Defense Contractor supplying airborne radars and radomes, collaborating with esteemed organizations like the Defense Research and Development Organization, the Center for Military Airworthiness and Certification, and the Aeronautical Development Agency. In my role I have created reports to qualify and validate Antennas and Radomes by testing them to various standards like Mil STD, JSS, ESA etc In the second half of my career, I shifted my focus to utilities and railroad, gaining hands-on experience in investigations, locating, and emergency procedures while working for utility owners and private locates. In the railroad industry, I am qualified as a Conductor, Locomotive Inspector, and Rail Car Inspector, covering a territory spanning 900km radius. I am responsible for troubleshooting train disruptions and reducing downtime on the mainline, as well as managing low horsepower units in Southern Ontario to improve yard productivity. Through clear communication and understanding I have motivated unionized employees, successfully implementing strategies that have resulted in increased efficiency and operational excellence.Currently, I am entrusted with the task of engineering trains for track construction, where I leverage my expertise in Research, Analysis, Report creation and Regulatory Affairs to propel efficiency and safety in rail operations. This role has not only honed my skills but also exposed me to crucial aspects of project management such as tender creations, bid evaluations, estimations, and contract management. My commitment to executing projects with precision, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety, underscores my dedication to driving excellence in every endeavor.
