ABOUT VANSHIKA GARG
My interest in supply chain management was shaped early, growing up in a family that ran a food processing business exposed me to inventory planning, procurement, logistics, and even international trade. From watching raw materials transform into finished goods to understanding the complexities of distribution and export, I developed a deep appreciation for what happens behind the scenes to keep supply chains running.That early exposure evolved into practical experience. I’ve worked in financial operations (ABC ITES), business development and app innovation (Sorted Pvt. Ltd.), and most recently, in the Founder’s Office at Skillmine Technology Consulting. There, I helped govern the global sales function and contributed to corporate strategy across regions. These roles sharpened my problem-solving, data-driven thinking, and cross-functional collaboration, skills I’m excited to apply more deeply in the supply chain domain.This September, I’ll be joining Newcastle University for my MSc in Supply Chain Management. My goal is to combine hands-on experience with academic expertise to lead innovation in logistics, sustainability, and operational excellence.
