Work as a member of the Employment Services team to provide client centered service delivery that best meets client needs towards their goal of obtaining and maintaining competitive employment•Provide tailored, customized employment counseling services to job seekers •Provide assessment of client skills, vocational interests, transferable skills, aptitudes and training needs to develop realistic and attainable employment goals•Assist clients to identify and overcome barriers to employment•Assist clients in development of their employment action plans and follow-through•Facilitate referral to internal and external resources•Create a service plan, guide and follow up on client progress, and coordinate with partner organizations•Case manage clients to ensure goals in service plans are met; conduct 3, 6 and 9-months follow-ups to track progress after completion of services and maintain relevant client records•Maintain an active caseload, including all file management responsibilities•Meet monthly statistical and reporting requirements•Assist in tracking clients’ progress and outcomes and preparing monthly and other reports as required, service delivery, outcomes and success stories•Participate fully and responsibly as an equal member of the employment services team
