ABOUT VANETTA RODRIGUES
My career has always lived at the intersection of communication and people, and every role I\'ve taken on has deepened that conviction.It started in the classroom. As an Assistant Professor of English at Maniben Nanavati Women\'s College, I didn\'t just teach. I designed learning experiences for 300+ students, mentored four interns, and found ways to make complex concepts click for students who came in skeptical they ever would.That foundation carried into the corporate world at Collegepond, where I translated that same clarity-first thinking into high-impact client communications (worked with Indian and International clients), internal training (F1 Visa), and process improvements. Earning the Proactive Award there meant something specific to me. It recognized not just the work, but the instinct to spot where communication was breaking down and build something to fix it.Most recently, as Visiting Faculty in the Department of Basic Humanities and Social Sciences at NMIMS University\'s Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering, I\'ve been instructing 200+ engineering and MBA students annually in interpersonal skills, including communication, collaboration, and leadership. I design and deliver curriculum through case studies, simulations, and interactive sessions, with one consistent goal: closing the gap between what students learn and what workplaces actually need.That gap, between information and understanding, between strategy and people, is where I do my best work.Today, I\'m looking to bring this blend of writing, training, curriculum thinking, and stakeholder communication into roles in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, and Internal Communications.
