ABOUT VANESSA MONTERO
I am a bilingual Human Resources professional with extensive talent management experience in the retail industry. Areas of expertise include: strategic planning, organizational design, change management, business process improvement, staffing strategy, career development and overall associate engagement. One of my passions is to support organizations in managing their most important asset, people! I am a firm believer that human capital is the most important element of a company’s long term success. With these changing times, the employee experience is key to attracting and retaining talent. One key example is helping organizations create an environment where associates can feel comfortable bringing their full selves to work. I enjoy new experiences whether through learning, networking, visiting new places and trying new cuisines. Keeping up with research and trends in HR and the retail industry is another one of my passions. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, practicing yoga and working on my public speaking skills with Toastmasters.
