Anixter is a Global distributor of communication and security products, electrical and electronic wire & cable (US Fortune 500 company) Responsibilities: • Maintain and produce accurate and timely management accounts for number of European countries. • Worked on WD3 basis, where I manage all the variance analysis and commentary for my countries to Finance director • Responsible for processing, checking and reconciling transactions and information leading to the production of timely and accurate management and statutory reports. • Produce quarterly reports for balance sheet reviews and balance sheet packs • Prepare the required month end journals and liaise with all the senior stakeholders for any additional adjustments. • Review of monthly profit and loss accounts including pre-payments and accruals. • Review and entry of revenue recognition, customer and vendor rebates journals. • Ad-hoc investigations and adjustments requested by the commercial Business Partners. • Assisting management in the development of the business of the operating divisions, by providing information, interpretation, analysis and recommendations. • Assisted external auditors with analytical reviews for number of European Countries and providing satisfactory information for their audits • Assisted internal auditors with all their SOX enquiries for all the European countries under my responsibility • Testing of the new Financial Reporting System and providing training to the whole team
