She also has significant experience in drafting and negotiating a broad variety of complex commercial contracts. Vanessa joined Drinker Biddle from the D.C. office of a global law firm where she was a corporate associate focusing on mergers and acquisitions and other corporate matters. Transaction Counsel With a background in business and accounting, Vanessa brings a practical approach to handling transactions. Vanessa represents private and public companies, private equity funds and their portfolio companies, as both acquirers and sellers, in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, joint ventures and other strategic transactions. She has advised clients in a variety of industries, including clients in the consumer products, technology, manufacturing and healthcare spaces. Commercial Contracts Vanessa also has experience drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts, such as technology licensing agreements, master services agreements (and the accompanying statements of work) and supply agreements.
