As the Outreach Practitioner for the EHEAP programme, I play a key role in engaging potential learners, building partnerships with local organisations, and supporting individuals throughout their journey into higher education. My work involves planning and delivering targeted outreach activities, including working with local community services and delivering sessions to potential learners to raise awareness of EHEAP and its progression routes. I provide one-to-one guidance, support learners through applications and enrolment, and work closely with university staff to ensure each learner has access to the support they need. I’m passionate about widening participation and helping underrepresented groups build confidence, develop skills, and take meaningful steps into higher education.
