The Director of Community Life (NY/NJ) leads and manages Community Life strategic priorities in New Jersey, the NY Capital District, NYC, Westchester County and growth locations within the region. The Director will be based in NYC and will work closely with the Vice President of Community Life, Real Estate Development, and Operations to manage all aspects of the Community Life strategic plan for the region, and support TCB regional development goals.Under the direct supervision of the Senior Director of Community Life, the Director will perform the following roles and responsibilities:Hire, on-board, and supervise 8 Community Life Service Coordinators (CLSCs) in NYC, Yonkers, Schenectady, Troy, Albany and New Brunswick.Develop and monitors progress of the Community Success Plan to implement Community Life Operational Excellence, a one-year, data-informed strategic plan outlining site priorities, strategies, and activities.In coordination with Property Management, ensure the implementation of the TCB Housing Stabilization Standard of practiceIn collaboration with the Director of Research and Evaluation, oversee the collection of the annual Community Life questionnaire from 30% of the residents, and ensure the entering of process data in CL Connect by site staff weekly.In close coordination with HR, provide training, coaching and professional development opportunities for CLSCs including ongoing support, feedback and completion of annual evaluations.Work closely with local organizations and leadership to ensure the successful implementation of the community engagement initiatives.Prepare reports and present on CSP progress during monthly and quarterly partners and Regional meetings with TCB corporate staff as required by funders to fulfill grant commitments.Develop and oversee partners Memorandum of Understanding and Service Agreements, including exercise authority as needed to ensure that partner organizations are held accountable for high quality work.
