Founded in 1975, Penn Dance Company is the University of Pennsylvania’s premier dance company and the only student-run dance group with a professional Artistic Director. With a focus in modern dance, Penn Dance is known for blending strong technical training with innovative student choreography. The company performs two full-length shows each year and regularly appears at campus and city-wide events—including a recent performance at a Philadelphia 76ers game. Beyond that, Penn Dance is a tight-knit community where dancers grow not only as artists, but as friends, leaders, and collaborators.
