Coordinate our regional activity in reaching and engaging with Black and South Asian communities, people experiencing deprivation, and other lesser heard communities across the North of England- Close working with the Regional Teams to ensure that these communities are at the forefront of all our work in improving the health of people with or at risk of diabetes- Advocate for Black and South Asian communities by influencing diabetes care in the NHS- Use insights from communities and health systems to influence key decision makers to keep diabetes on their agenda, feeding in additional needs or groups experiencing poor outcomes due to disparities in health care- Identify priority areas for reach and engagement, using data including National Diabetes Audit (NDA) area ensuring were hyper local in our approach, reaching those who need us the most- Offer and deliver training and awareness sessions to partner organisations- Advise and support on the recruitment, training and retention of volunteers and community champions.Global Majority Staff Network Lead
