About Vanessa Hoier

While completing my Bachelors I was active in U.W. Green Bay\'s SHRM Chapter as Secretary and a participant in German Club. I also put myself through college while working in retail and at Lambeau Field by serving the suites during home Packer Games; a position I still hold today.During the course of my studies I was an Executive Administrative Assistant Intern for Big Brothers Big Sisters in Green Bay. I completed the semester long internship by helping put together fundraisers and various administrative tasks. I then was fortunate to have another internship for My Innovative Services in their Human Resources department. I helped process newly hired and exiting employees, process incident reports, shadow interviews, and help transition the filing process to a paperless system. I left my internship to complete my education requirements for my international business minor to study abroad in Frankfurt, Germany; where I studied German and finance.After completing my education abroad, I took the liberty of backpacking Europe and learning more about the various cultures and histories of London, Ireland, Spain, Netherlands, Italy, and Greece.I started my career as a recruiter in staffing, and transitioned to working as an HR Receptionist after my first year of college. I had experience with administration, and assisting HR with their recruiting efforts.I was then offered a great opportunity as a contract recruiter for the corporate location for Alta Resources, an outsourcing company for Fortune 500 companies. While at Alta I completed over 500 phone interviews and sourced resumes for customer care representatives, sales, and program directors.I have received another fantastic opportunity by assisting Oshkosh Corporation at their corporate office with their talent acquisition efforts in a contract role. I reach out to passive candidates to share the great opportunities that Oshkosh has to offer for various roles such as Engineering and IT positions.I\'m currently working for Mativ Inc. remotely in their supply chain as a customer service representative. Extracting warehouse reports to manage inventory, reviewing open orders to coordinate with our traffic team to ship orders sooner as well as 3P warehouses. I toggle between 7 different systems for order entry and data gathering. In the 10 years I\'ve been here, I\'ve become knowledgeable in the paper industry, coordinating with many teams from planning, warehouses, transportation, and fielding customer inquiries.
