Vanessa is an attorney in Quarles & Brady\'s Product Liability, Toxic Tort and Personal Injury Litigation Practice Group. In her practice, Vanessa has served as national counsel for a major construction and agricultural equipment manufacturer and has represented clients in state and federal courts throughout the United States. Her trial experience includes securing a first chair defense verdict in a bench trial in Georgia. Vanessa also served on and managed a team of lawyers that acted as national document discovery counsel for an orthopedic device company in multi-district and state court litigation around the country. Vanessa also handled a habeas corpus appeal to the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.Vanessa has previously served as the Lead Grant Writer for the Indiana Region of the American Red Cross. She also has experience as the Executive Director for the Central Indiana Chapter and West Central Chapter and the Director of Operations for the Central Indiana Chapter of the Indiana Region of the American Red Cross. In these roles, Vanessa was responsible for volunteer recruitment, engagement, and empowerment; development/fundraising; and strategic delivery of American Red Cross programs. Vanessa also worked for the Indiana Department of Homeland Security as a Grants Coordinator and Legislative Liaison and served as a Governor\'s Fellow for Indiana Governor Joe Kernan.
