I am the Director of Operations at Verilab, Inc, a professional services firm specializing in semiconductor design and functional verification. Based in Austin, Texas, I work at the intersection of engineering excellence and organizational leadership, ensuring that our teams, clients, and processes are aligned to deliver high-impact results. Verilab operates through a distributed delivery model, and I focus on building the systems, structure, and culture that allow geographically diverse teams to perform at a consistently high level.My roots are in hands-on verification. I began my career as a Verification Engineer at Freescale and later worked as an Applications Engineer at Cadence, building deep technical expertise in SystemVerilog, UVM methodologies, and scalable testbench architecture. That technical foundation continues to shape how I lead today. I understand the pressures engineers face because I have lived them, including schedule risk, coverage closure, methodology adoption, and the constant push toward tape-out.As Director of Operations, my focus extends beyond project execution. I am passionate about developing engineers, strengthening team culture, and creating systems that enable people to do their best work. I believe high-performing technical organizations are built intentionally through clear expectations, mentorship, accountability, and a shared commitment to growth.In parallel with my industry role, I serve as an adjunct professor teaching Computer Science and Software Engineering courses at the university level. Education is deeply important to me. I am committed to bridging the gap between academia and industry, helping students not only learn to code, but also how to think critically, collaborate effectively, and grow into confident professionals.Across both industry and academia, my mission is consistent: elevate the standard of technical excellence while investing in people. Verification is about finding what others miss. Leadership is about helping others see what they are capable of becoming. I care deeply about both.
