ABOUT VANESSA CHU

With a Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science and a minor in Psychology from Florida International University as well as my training at Fullstack Academy, my journey has been marked by a deep dive into web development, extended reality (XR), and mobile gaming technologies. Most recently, as a Software Engineer Intern at Niantic, I had the opportunity to contribute to feature development impacting millions, honing my skills in Java, mobile development, and client-server communication.My experience as a Research Assistant at Florida International University sharpened my expertise in Unity and C# programming, where I played a pivotal role in creating immersive VR experiences for robotic training. My education at Fullstack Academy and experience interning as a web developer helped me develop skills in Javascript frameworks, including React.js and Node.js, as well as the fundamentals of building full-stack web applications. Blending my knowledge of game, web, and mobile development, I am driven to innovate within the technology field, with a commitment to continuous learning and collaboration.
