My role spans multi-state compliance, employee relations, and HR infrastructure building for our property management division.As an HR Business Partner, I collaborate closely with leadership to align our people strategies with MJW’s business objectives. Key responsibilities include:Talent Acquisition & Retention – Leading recruitment strategies, revamping job descriptions, reducing time-to-fill by 60%, and driving engagement/recognition programs that improve retention.HR Infrastructure & Compliance – Designing compliant policies and systems (IIPP, SOPs, ADA, WFH, PTO, separation/termination practices) across CA, WA, GA, and ID.Employee Relations & Leadership Coaching – Managing complex ER cases, drafting PIPs, Severance agreements, and providing direct coaching to property leaders and corporate executives.Training & Development – Building leadership training guides, onboarding programs, and property-specific SOPs, while maintaining employee engagement through recognition programs.Payroll, Benefits & Analytics – Overseeing payroll/benefits (401k rollout, renewals), tracking turnover and time-to-fill, and connecting HR metrics to portfolio financial performance.Strategic Partnerships – Collaborating with legal, risk management, and ADP TotalSource to ensure compliance and operational alignment.At MJW Investments, I’m driven by the opportunity to create systems and programs that empower both employees and the business to thrive.
