In my role as Head of Logistics for the Central Region, I lead the planning and execution of all transport activities required to deliver wind turbine components from port/factory to installation site. This includes operational oversight across towers, nacelles, drive trains and blades, as well as building the structures, processes, and team capabilities needed to manage this complexity reliably.I manage a multidisciplinary logistics organization including project logistics, operations, port management, controlling, data analytics, process improvement, and SAP administration. We focus on clarity, accountability, and high‑quality execution. My work combines day‑to‑day operational decision‑making with longer‑term process improvement, strategy, and performance management.Responsibilities- Leading end‑to‑end logistics activities for multi‑country projects with demanding operational requirements- Developing team structures, coaching employees, and strengthening decision‑making routines- Establishing consistent processes, KPIs, and improvement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce friction, and improve delivery reliability- Coordinating closely with engineering, sourcing, project management, HSE, ports, and transport partners- Ensuring budget transparency, cost control, and accurate planning for upcoming project volumesMy career has always centered on complex logistics environments, and my role at Nordex allows me to apply that experience in a highly technical and fast‑moving context.
