Predoctoral, lifespan externship in an outpatient clinic in a medical center with highly diverse patient population. This externship provides training in foundations of neuropsychological evaluation, neuropsychological assessment, including administration of tests, integration of results, written reports and feedback. Supervision is both scheduled and open door every day of externship. Also provides weekly didactics both departmental and divisional.The Division of Neuropsychology in the Department of Neurology at Montefiore Medical Center serves patients with ages ranging from young childhood to older adults. Our patient population includes individuals with neurological conditions, such as TBI, MS, Long Covid, medical diseases, neurodegenerative and neurodevelopmental disorders. Six faculty, including Emeritus Professor David Masur PhD, ABPP-cn are involved with supervision, didactics and ongoing training over the course of the externship.
