About Vandana Sharma
I am a scientist, having passion for Clinical Genomics and Diagnostics. Worked in areas of molecular diagnostics including reprogenetics( PGS, Microarray, whole exome, NIPT, PGD & Car Seq). HLA, and immunogenetics reporting, analysis, and trouble shooting. Worked on Autism and gene variants associated using CMA and Whole exome sequencing, infectious markers HPV, HBV, and MTB. Worked in Transplant immunology, Luminex-based Antibody detection at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital. I got the opportunity to work with NIMS hospital, Hyderabad and Inst of genetics in areas of ischemic stroke, epilepsy, and genetic variants associated with diseases for my Ph.D. Thesis Work. Pharmacogenetics of antiplatelet drugs Aspirin and clopidogrel. Worked on Epilepsy model of rat and treated with curcumin and piperine, including biochemical and neurotransmitters estimation, including the EEG, and compared efficacy with Phenytoin and CBZ. Peer reviewed publications on Mosaic embryos, NIPT, and Recurrent pregnancy loss in peer review internatiPeer-reviewedonal journals.
