   Pioneered the Community Defense program in Philadelphia working specifically with Southeast Asian community members facing deportation and provided case support for 200+ program participants - Research and analyze federal, state, and local legislation to explore various reliefs for formerly incarcerated people with deportation orders and oversea deportees - Collaborated with legal partners to provide 1:1 legal and language supports for program participants to file pardon applications which resulted - Represented organization in a Northeast coalition of similar organizations to support defense and federal, state, and local advocacy efforts- Redesigned a trilingual comprehensive case intake process and case management pipeline to ensure accurate and efficient documentation collection- Partnered with various stakeholders across the country to advocate against deportation within state and federal government develop federal policy and recommendations for members of Congress to consider- Identified areas of improvement and evaluate team’s performance by revisiting original goals and reviewing self-assessments to ensure program’s goals and objectives are met biannually
